Valeriia Simanovskaia is the Founder and CEO of BioBrokers, where she leads global capital markets, M&A and strategic transactions across life sciences, technology and natural resources. With a background spanning neuroscience, psychiatry, clinical development and international business development, she operates at the intersection of science, capital and strategy. Before founding BioBrokers, Valeriia held senior leadership and business-development roles in the life-sciences industry, working across fundraising, licensing, strategic partnerships and corporate development. She has originated and advanced transactions across private and public companies, from early-stage financings to large-scale institutional capital raises. Through BioBrokers, she has built a global network of investors, strategic partners, acquirers and industry leaders across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Valeriia is known for identifying high-potential opportunities early, positioning them for sophisticated capital, and driving complex cross-border transactions from origination through execution.

He has completed more than €100 million in biotechnology licensing and commercial-product transactions. During his pharmaceutical career, he contributed to increasing annual pipeline NPV by approximately €800 million and worked on non-binding offers in the $500 million–$1 billion range. He is Founder and Managing Partner of Cardiff Advisory LLC, a life-sciences-focused M&A and strategic advisory firm based in San Diego. David has participated in more than 50 completed transactions and advises companies on M&A, licensing, strategic partnering, capital raising and valuation. His experience spans both emerging companies and established healthcare businesses navigating transformational transactions. William Johnson brings more than 30 years of experience across biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, company formation and investment diligence. His career includes roles with Novartis, Wyeth, EMD Millipore, the Broad Institute, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Mayo Clinic and The Scripps Research Institute. He has extensive experience sourcing and assessing emerging technologies, therapeutic programmes and early-stage biotechnology companies. His scientific expertise spans molecular biology, immunology, neuroscience and bioinformatics, with exposure to oncology, metabolic disease, inflammatory disorders and neurological conditions. Austin Westerman-Gritli brings more than 15 years of experience across Japan’s biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. As Managing Director of Cross-Pacific, he develops strategic relationships between European and Japanese life-sciences companies and institutions. His work spans asset positioning, partner identification, deal origination, strategic outreach, licensing discussions and market-entry strategy. Austin holds a Master’s degree in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Tokyo. His combination of scientific expertise, commercial judgment and deep understanding of Japanese business culture enables companies to navigate complex cross-border transactions.
